Welcome! Supporting Children through Play

 
                                                                                                                

We offer sessional day care for pre-school children aged 2 years 9 months to 5 years.   
 
Our philosophy is to promote learning through play and ease the transition between home and school.

The playgroup is a registered charity (No. 301614) run by a committee of parent volunteers and a team of highly qualified, dedicated and caring staff       

Located in the Cotswold Water Park, we moved into our new purpose built building in 2006. This provides a secure, friendly and stimulating environment
                  • Indoor activities include arts and crafts, painting, sticking and moulding, computer corner, cosy reading area and home corner with play kitchen - there is also a topical table with items of interest linking to the topic of the week
Outdoors we have a new tarmac bike track, playhouse, sandpit, climbing frame, slides, cars & trikes. We encourage wildlife with a bird table and feeders, a wildlife garden and pond.  Please click on the heading 'Outdoors' to view pictures
          
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   
     Sessions Timetable:

    Morning sessions        Mon - Fri    8.55am-11.55am

    Afternoon sessions     Mon, Tues and Thurs    12:40pm-3:10pm

    Babies and Toddlers   Wed  1:30pm-3:00pm  (except on last Wednesday of each month)


 

 

If you would like to register your child for playgroup please click Registration Form  and then print the form out and either email it to webmaster@southcerneyplaygroup.org or post it to us at Playgroup.

OFSTED REPORT

South Cerney Playgroup is registered with Ofsted URN 101528.  The last Ofsted inspection was carried out on 24th May 2011.  The resulting  report is available to view at Playgroup or on the Ofsted website.  A copy of the report can be found at the following link
